James Ching, named also Tehina, was born September 11th, 1969 in Papeete, Tahiti. He is a polynesian artist of rare and precious talent and whose exhibits are too rare to be missed. Tehina univers is organized around a fertile imagination, he takes life and shape through a shimmering palette and Lunine: purple "Chagallian", red magenta and blue ocean are charged with energy in its paintings, giving life to curves, shapes, at a certain moonlight. Works in large formats, playing a bit like quotes in rap songs. He likes to paint dailylife scenery, of a woman or a man in the street, anonymous, alone in the world of lovers on park benches.
