Stefano Trozzi

Born in 1960, Stefano Trozzi spent his childhood in the countryside of Calabre and was fond of walking and rock climbing.
His great need for open spaces and nature will lead him towards Art.

It was at San Remo high school that he began his training in Fine Arts before pursuing his studies at the academic level.
At the early stage of his career, he was noticed for the extreme sensibility of his work. At that same period, he developed his own artistic style through a stunning knife work.

Afterwards, his reflexion will lead him to simplify his work. A work that has reached today a certain maturity that is visible throughout his thematic sceneries.

Trozzi loves pigmentations and uses them to suggest sensual emotions. His palette is neither pale nor over mixed as he seeks to preserve the chromatic intensity of sunny days. He shows a distorted vision of natural light requesting from the viewer an active reading of his work.

The Artist is a poet capturing the natural harmony of the landscape in order to transcend reality and create ambiences.
